Winnebago Cat Head – This basket design was once used by the Native American Winnebago’s. It was used as a carrying and storage basket. Approximately 12” tall. At the widest part, the basket measures 44” in circumference. The opening in the top is 10 ½” across. Stained with black walnut hulls. This basket is very useful as a floor basket but is not too big for the table top or other shelf. Thanks to Susan Coyle for her interpretation of this unusual basket.
